Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax
Perhaps some of you have tried this wax product. If not, I'd like to recommend it to you. I have used a number of wax products on my '04 coupe and would say that I had settled down to Mequiars products until today.
I bought a 16 oz. bottle of Pinnacle Natural Brilliance Liquid Souveran wax on eBay a couple weeks back. Today I decided to try it. I can say it went on very easily, came off equally easily by hand. There's no white waxy dust or white remnants left in cracks. It produced an excellent "wet look" shine and was pleasant to use. It has a pleasing odor. I'm sure I used more than the recommended amount on my car, but still if went on and off easily. Next time I'll be more stingy.
Advertisements about the product state: "Pinnacle Liquid Souverän Wax is packed with the maximum amount of carnauba wax available in a liquid wax. The carnauba is what gives Liquid Souverän its distinctive, high gloss shine. Polycharger polymers are added to enhance the brilliant shine, the protection, and the durability of Pinnacle Liquid Souverän Wax."
Those ads go on to say: "Carnauba waxes have what is known in the industry as a "high jetting factor". This is the ability of a product to produce a liquid-like shimmer on the surface. Advertisers have coined the term "wet-look" to describe this phenomenon. While carnauba can create this wet-look, it has been all but impossible to create it with a liquid carnauba wax. There was no way to put enough carnauba in a product to create this effect and still keep the wax a liquid. In the past, if you wanted the deepest, wet-look shine, you had to use a harder, paste wax. Liquid Souverän has changed that. It produces a deep, liquid shimmer that rivals all but the very best carnauba paste waxes."
If you are looking for a quality wax to try, test this stuff out. I live in the PNW so will be curious to see how it holds up to our frequently wet weather. It sells for about $35 for 16 oz.

never tried the liquid but i have used the paste wax for a couple years.Probably the best product i have ever tried so im sure the liquid is just as good
I've used different products over the years on my Cruisers, even some stuff from a Pro detailer from the PT Forum page. My question is this - If Carnuba wax gives the best "Wet Look" why can't we use straight carnuba wax? Something like I use on my wood sculpture projects. Has anyone tried this before? Would it hurt the clearcoat? I'd try it if I had something other than my two babys.
Good morning Patpur, actually I'm still a member. My wifes car is an '03 Tangerine Dream Cruiser Series II Turbo 5 Speed with only 33,500 miles on her.
In my opinion the best PT color and engine/tranny they ever put in the PTs.
What do or did you have?

Just my opinion...

The synthetics give great lasting power, but not the great wet-look. Carnuba gives the shine, but fails to hold up over time like the synthetics.
