Default Zaino

I was told about these zaino products by someone yesterday and was wondering if anybody knows anything about them or has used them. The guy I talked to told me they are a little pricey but amazing. I was just looking for a second opinion before i go and order this stuff.

I may work for Meguiar's, but here's my honest opinion with a bit of background.

5 years ago, before I worked for Meguiar's, I purchased a new car that I desperately wanted to take care of. I did a bunch of research and Zaino products seemed to be the choice of discerning enthusiats, so I went with them in spite of the high price of entry. Great stuff, no doubt about it.

But the more I learned about this stuff, the less impressed I became. I now find that, with what I know and skills I've developed, I can obtain far better results with less money using a wide variety of other products. My personal opinion, in a nutshell - Zaino is very good stuff but it's also the most over rated and over hyped finish care product line on the market. If you have a badly neglected finish, you can't just slap a bunch of coats of the stuff on you car and fix all the problems, despite what a lot of people would like you to believe.

Well I've used a ton of different wax products. I landed on Zaino about 8 years ago. I spend probably about 100$ a year to maintain my Crossfire and my wife's C240. I use the Z-2 polish and the Z-6 detail spray. I also use their leather conditioner and cleaner, it actually does clean and smells like an old baseball mitt. I use Meguairs Gold Car Shampoo, the Zaino in my book is nowhere as good. Both my wife and I are constantly getting comments like nice new car, how do you keep it so shiney? They get handwashed once a week, yes even in the winter, detail sprayed after every wash and polished once a month.
Zaino is not that expensive. There are a ton of great cleaner/wax/polish products on the market. I happened on Zaino and stuck with it, I've seen other folks cars on this forum that use Adams, another great product, probably the same cost as Zaino, again amazing shine. I really can't say anything bad about Mother's, Meguiars etc. I use the Meguiars Plastx on my headlights and it makes them better than new, great stuff. The bottom line is find something you can afford, something that's fairly easy to use and use it regularly. One other thing I like about the Zaino polish is it leaves no dust. There are no white marks afterwards.

I've used a ton of stuff over the years including Zaino , I now been using Adam's products for the last couple of years, I do like the Meguiar's NXT specially on dark colors.

I use Zaino Z-2 and the leather cleaner. Easy to use and very good results.
Cost is really not the high since you use a VERY small amount.
As for detail spray and clay bar I prefer Megiar's.

They guys at perfectautofinish.com also have a nice product line and some of the best MF towels available.
