Default Dyno'd my car today... SRT6

Today, I along with a few other people organized a car club dyno event. I had heard and read that the SRT6 will no dyno past 4,800 rpms, at that mark, the engine management will kick in. I paid for my dyno slot just after i picked up the car almost a month ago. Then i learned about the SRT6 issue on the dyno, but decided what the hell, it was only $50 bucks for 3 pulls on the dyno, why back out. I had already gone to the track and ran 13.38 @ 103 mph. So i knew the power was there.

I told the guy running the cars on the dyno that there might be a problem with the way the car dyno's and if there is a problem "oh well". Just run it as best as he can and it is what it is as far as what the numbers that come out of the dyno.

I've only had the SRT6 for 1 month, and its still bone stock from what i can tell. The prior owner appeared to be DCX and the car was leased so i don't believe it was modded in any way.

What did i get on the dyno??...

Although the car would down shift if you rolled on the gas too quickly, which would make the car buck and the dyno run would have to be stopped.

I was expecting 220whp as it was what some people had posted on this site when they attempted to dyno.

Here are my dyno sheets...

I don't know how accurate these numbers are... but it did not appear that any of the engine management kicked in or traction control

the automatics don't have dyno problems, only the 6 speeds have issues on 2wd dyno.

Get the pulley and ECU upgrade from Speed inovations, then get a dyno. should put down 400 hp.

Hmmm... i didn't think of that... maybe i'll try it next time, but all in all i was happy with the results. We could not clip on to any of the spark plug wires, so the tach was not reading on the dyno. The results were speed calculated, which according to the shop is a accurate form of dynoing... so we couldn't get a tach read out on the dyno sheet nor torque numbers. However, i do know that all 3 of the runs that counted, it was from roughly 2,800 rpms to redline... on 2 other runs, the car downshifted and the run was stopped.

SI Stage 1 is $3,400 installed it comes with pulleys, ecu tuning, and the sl55 y-splitter intake setup...

The Renntech kit is only $2,999 for the SRT-6, plus about $100 in next day shipping for the pcm there and back.

$5k ?? Where did that come from?

I do not know where you got 5k+ for the Renntech kit as eracer said it is 3k + installation, but does not come with the Y-splitter, but then again it could be had for that 400 easily... the thing that makes SI good in my eyes is that they have been on the forums posted dynos answered forum members questions, but we have very little information from Renntech...

i would of probably bought the Renntech kit off Eracer, i've met him in the past and he is local... but i missed out on the "F/S" thread.

how much is a PCM from chrysler? reason being that i would like to buy one, flash it to the car. then send that one out to be flashed by SI, then if i needed warrenty work on the car, i could swap out pulley's and pcm's.

I believe he's talking about the S/W switch on the automatics for rain and snow.

Sorry, I have a manual transmission... Was just curious... Because many of the MB software controls are not included in the Crossfire... I just wanted to make sure Crossfire owners didn't get confused by mis-information...

Flo, I wouldn't worry much about the dealer. They are clueless on what to look for on those cars. They see so few...

Congrats on the numbers again. I told ya she put down 290. What kind of MPG's you getting?

Also is there any ETA when CSC will be back up?
