New CAI and MB Cover

OK, I got this new MB cover. It must be from a bigger MB engine because it uses larger filters than the SLK320. Since I'm not using the inside filters there is less restriction for air flow. I bought these external CAI and instyalled them on my new cover, and I have to say that while I have no dyno to prove it, my *** on my seat feels a significant pull on acceleration. I will update my pics soon to include the external filters.
Now all I need is the TVT250 w/o the CAI and this baby baby will improve performance significantly. :D

Looks nice! I would save your $s and let your foot reteach your ecu ! Try 3-4 gear a little more! I think I'd use the filter for that box, it's larger.
Those emblems will be going out this week !

Re: New CAI and MB Cover

I've noticed more and more MB guys have been using the amg v8 motor's (supercharged 55s and MAYBE 63s) airboxes and using them on the v6s with minor modifications. Cool part about the v8 motor's airboxes are that they look near stock and offer about 20% larger filters.
