Default New engine cover design maybe?

Anyone else painted the crosses on our engine covers a different color? I looked and couldnt find any painted that way, I'm in the process currently, should be done tm and will post pics. Not sure how well it will turn out, first attempt at painting anything other than stretched canvas.

Did it myself,
Be patient when taping of the parts you don't want to paint, overall went well. Paint was cheap from chrysler dealer $9 per can
The Crossfire letters were a different story taped them and used an exacto blade to cut percision lines before painting black, Just be patient.

I painted my cover myself also, but when I did the lettering, I used Elmers Paint Pens (Walmart Arts & crafts dept.). It's pretty easy to do freehand using the sides of the pen tips. I bought the medium size.
I then clear coated the whole thing with Duplicolor Van and Truck Gloss Clear.

You can check my gallery for pics.
