Re: tvt pullies

Installation will be like any other pulley kit - about 1-2 hours.
You will notice some gains.
I suggest you contact TVT directly, or if you can wait a few weeks, I'll let you know!!!
Their kit does not come with a belt - TVT will tell you the belt number, whichn you can get from rockauto.com.

Re: tvt pullies

how much is the belt?

Re: tvt pullies

The belt is $20.00.

We get our pullies from LET, they belt they include is about an inch too small to work, so in essence you need a slightly larger, 95.5" belt.

Uhhhh.... the belt on the SRT6 is 114.5" long the NA is 94.
$20 is a bargin - the Gatorback belt is about $50-$60, but seems VERY nice.
When I installed the LET pullies the stock belt fit fine. (not included with my kit)

Get the LET 181mm if all else will remwin stock and your looking for the best all around set up. If you will be adding this as part of a full out upgrade go the 185mm.

Re: tvt pullies

By chance did TVT get install instructions from LET for the NA under drive pullies? Ive had a set of LET pullies sitting in my garage for about 3 months now...

TVT: Is the NA crank pulley done? :D

Crank pulley is for sale on the site: http://www.tvtdesign.com/inc/sdetail/616

I can help you with the install if you need it. You will need a power steering puller though. You can get it from Autozone for about $20.00.

Is there any chance that TVT might make different sized crank pullies for the NA application?

I will go to autozone and find one :D

Re: tvt pullies

The crank pulley is also the Harmonic balancer on the N/A so a different size may not be cost effective at this point. Typical gains are 12-18HP depending on mods. Throttle response is greatly increased and you can expect about 3-5% improvement in gas mileage.

Re: tvt pullies

for accesories it usually saves about 3-5 hp, not sure what the crank pulley will make?

Got the dyno to show the HP gains? :) I know LET showed a dyno on a stock c320 when they finished their under drive pullies...

If its dyno proven, there is no way you any NA user shouldnt buy this thing :x 500 bux? itll pay for itself in improved mpg!

Re: tvt pullies

There is a 5.5L graph on Mbworld but we will get down to the dyno in the next week or so for a v6 graph. Keep in mind our engine is modified a little...
