I have not heard of any problems with the oil filter. Only problem is preference as to fleece opposed to paper Most will agree on Mobil 1 the top preferred oil brand.

Just my Dos Centavos !

I used a NAPA paper filter because that is what they had. I am checking to see if they can get me the fleece type for my next oil change. 0w40 Mobil 1. My last trip to Sams had 6 pack of oil for $31.

Took mine to the Chrysler dealer yesterday they changed it for $100.23. Eight quarts of 0-30 at $7.50 a quart and filter for $18.88, the rest was labor. I was expecting it to cost more. If you are not racing and change your oil regularly, using the proper oil, I really don't see the big deal of which filter to use? Then again, I'm the one who still has small black spots inside my rims.

Welcome, Johnnny!

The only 'problem' I can think of is: if you don't put the O-rings on correctly you can sometimes 'twist' the filter installing the new one. Needless to say, it doesn't filter so good that way!
Beyond that I can't say I've ever seen/heard anyone complain about filter issues. Beyond the cost of the oil it's no problemo!

Welcome aboard and I've heard of some peeps not pushing the filter down hard enough to seat properly. I use the Napa Gold (Mann fleece) and AMSOIL 5W-40 down here in the hot weather.
