Default what do I do now?

Hello folks,

Well, I finally sold my beautiful charcoal SRT-6 and bought a Limited 6-speed stick. I agree with the review i once read that it was criminal not to offer the SRT-6 with a stick, and as much as I loved the way the SRT just got up and moved, it was so boring trying to get that auto stick thing to feel like a real transmission (shifting point are more of a suggestion even when you try your best). And in fact, I found and had agreed to buy the 6-speed Limited before I had a buyer for the SRT and was seriously considering trying to find someone to swap out the trannies. Then the next day someone hit my Ebay auction with an offer close enough to what I was asking, so I figured, "a bird in the hand...." So now I am happily slammin through the gears, but in the back of my mind I'm still not over the performance of the SRT. So.... does anyone out there know how to make a Limited faster? I know I won't get SRT-6 performance (I imss the tighter suspension too) but there must be a way to squeeze a few more poines in there. Somebody help! and thanks, Leo

You might look at the TVT 250 kit.

The NeedsWings CAI dropped my 1/4 mile times from 15.1 to 14.6 !

I'd definitely call that a big improvement!

You might also want to consider the Magnaflow cat-back. It's not much of a performance increase, but it DEFINITELY makes the 6-speed a lot more fun!

Yep, a good cold air intake, bigger injectors and a custom ECU tune should bring up about to 260 ponies.

Still waiting to see that thing on the track FP!

I have done the ecu from InMotion, the TVT cai, bigger injectors, Magnaflow exhaust, Sprint Booster, and find it is a whole new car.

I also did the H&R sway bars front & rear (rear is a ***** to install) and went to Vredesein tires (275/30 rear, 235 front) and the handling is more neutral and tighter/flatter.

Went to drilled/slotted rotors and Porterfield "S" street/track pads, ss brake lines and "Blue" racing brake fluid and find the braking is better, more predictable at the limit (I run NASA street class eents at PIR and Firebird here in Phoenix).

Fun car !!!

I'm not much of a track guy, but this is becoming very tempting.

I'll second the TVT250 kit and note that I'm still offering the group buy price until we ship out the Injectors.

999.00 for about 40 extra HP!

What is the turnaround time on the ECU? I can't afford to be without my car for any length of time. Maybe I can do this over Christmas.

What does the TVT250 kit consist of? How do I place an order? Are the new injectors and cai included?

As little as three days if you overnight it to us and want it overnighted back.

Kit includes an ECU tune, larger injectors, CAI, and modified Mercedes Engine Cover. We will be shipping out the Group Buy orders on Tuesday and that will be the final day to order.

You can paypal the 999.00 to info@tvtdesign.com or call 732-649-9597 to process over the phone.

Default Re: Thank you to members

First of all, sincere thanks to everyone who responded to my first question. After reading the replies, I realize I know more about my Harleys than this car, or how best to combine some of the stuff that was recommended to me for the best results, so I have another question. Seems to me some senior Mercedes mechanics might know some tricks to beef up the Crossfire engine, such as which kit works best with which intakes, etc. So I'm wondering if anyone knows a really good shop in the Miami area who I could take to about doing some of these mods?

Thanks again,
Leo
