can't order Export pipes from Mercedes
 

does anyone here have connections with a Mercedes Benz dealer? I have found the elusive part numbers for the NO catalytic converter exhaust system for Chrysler Crossfire, or export pipes I guess they call it. but the dealerships refuse to order it, wtf

I know someone who is a Technical Trainer for Chrysler and is very good at getting info on hard to find parts. He was able to do so for the export neon parts when I was looking. He had the airbag deletes, tow hooks and all.

What is this part number, I will shoot it over to him and see what he says.

been a while since I had the part number, I will have to go look it up again. it's well hidden in the Crossfire PDF documentation parts manual. I'll look this week end.

I tried to get MB to order an ignition switch for my crossfire, and they said that they need a vin number, and if it was a chrysler they couldn't get it for me. Try to give them money, and they don't want it?? I guess you can do that when your MB. And yes part number please. Is it a header back system, or mid pipe, Like used on mustangs?

find the part # for the MB part that is the same as the part needed for the XF....order it...its that simple...they never know you own a XF...

damn forgot to look it up, I'm not sure if it's from the header or what, have to order one and see.

anyways if you need a vin number just go to ebay motors and look up the car you need, usually it's listed under the auction...
