hi guys

im in need to change my oil soon, i have found some royal purple 0w-40 on amazon now there are two up there one is (87$ sae1) 12 quarts , and the other is 147$ sae 12 quarts , so i am really lost i dont know why the price is so different just because one says SAE1 and SAE ive been on google trying to find the anwser for atleast an hour lol can anyone shed some light?

and has anyone here used royal purple in their crossfire? i have heard it is a really good oil from a crazy car enthusiast friend of mine >:D cheers

I've used Royal Purple in other cars I've owned, and it works just as well as any others. But...since it's not on the MB approved list, I won't use it in the Crossfire. And to my knowledge, there is no such thing as SAE1, only SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). The 1 must be a typo. As far as the difference in price, I have not a clue.

thanks for your reply yeah it must have been a typo..i decided to just get the 0w-40 mobil 1 as everyone has said to get, Better of be safe then sorry to save a few dollars..
