Easiest way to make one would be to take two pieces of Aluminum C-channel, shape then weld the two halves together. Take that and tack it to two 2.25" pipes and clamp that to an aftermarket muffler.

It would be a one-off, but the fit would be tailor-made and you could call the shots.

The closest thing that's able to be purchased is the Wicked Flow tip that James used on his Crossfire last year. Only problem is it's a single tip, so you'd need a SI/SO aftermarket muffler for that one as well.

Pizzaguy.. thanks for posting right behind him.. always liked the look of the vett tip when I saw it.. but seeing the two cars on the same page.. side by side comparison if you will, I really think when it's time to mod my exhaust I'm going to have to join the vett club.. LOL I really does look like it belongs there over the OEM tips.

The ONLY gripe I have about the WF tip is the height/thickness of the tip... if it was about an inch thicker, it would be perfect. Not enough visual height in the recessed area for it to be a truly "plug and play" but I'm not opposed to try it. IMO the Wicked Flow tip would look stellar painted a flat black, and have it "blend in" with the unpainted Mopar Diffusers.

Basically, one big dark area... like, well, a Lambo.

Somebody getting royalties here?

2 1/2" Corvette*2.5 x 12" Stainless Exhaust Tip | eBay

And with scrolling down the list.. with our stock muffler offset..if it was cut out any idea how close this would match up with a straight pipe to carry it out to the bumber?

Our opening is ~12" at the top portion of the trapezoid, 10.5 at the bottom span.

So, the last tip which is 8" wide (each) won't work.

Interesting that they used James' car for the ad tho, wow!

Thanks for the replies guys always appreciated. So it is possible...... I don't want to make one up myself though & was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere possibly in the UK (although happy to ship it over) that specializes in these type's of exhausts?

I rather suspect your local custom exhaust manufacturer should be able to help on this (note custom is the important bit - you don;t want the apes at kwik-fit trying their fist at it!!)

I will stay well clear of them. Currently searching for local specialists.

I think I might have been unclear in my question. Where the exhaust enters the muffler, it is offset from center. That tip is offset. straight pipe replacing the muffler, what's the chance of it hitting centered? Muffler-less style exhaust, or possible a shorty type muffler. That would leave you 2" clearance on each side.

Occasionally they run a listing for the Crossfire with this tip. They actually paid pretty well for permission to use my photos. They made me an offer and I said yes. They are an upfront and honest company for sure.

I actually really like the idea of the one big center exhaust, though I'd love something that fits the exact space.. that being said, I think James is my second favorite look.. the first being that crazy Koenigsinder (sp?) kit that I can't find anywhere
