LOLOLOLL I loved the Money pit! Having built a couple of My own houses, I can always relate.

You Know Greg My decision to switch #2 spots back to You couldn't have come at a better time. Beside Buying the Truck I had always coveted, I decided to Buy those season tickets to the Seahawks.

Man I cut that close! I got in just in the nick of time, 3 weeks later and I would have had to wait for Years! Currently Seattle Seahawks are quoting at least 10 Years to buy season tickets. 3rd best decision I ever made.

Go Hawks.

Well I've made it clear they can take "my turbo and..." LOL. Glad things worked out in your favor! We just got a sweet 92 vette for the horsepower fix...

(Well okay.. wife liked the looks and I keep the carbon out of it.. )

She has pretty much taken over my Crossfire.. but I do see in the near future the vette.. my crossfire.. and a vanilla interior roadster..

Tried to get her to get serious about the roadster.. but she saw the vette and had to have it.. I did tell her we can work on the roadster for her.. but the vette stays now..

Here is a "cut and Paste" from last year at this time where they were talking powder coating and the pipe height. Not much change in a year, same song:

Sorry about the pics. I’m doing my best to avoid you.
Not quite so, just haven’t stopped to take pictures.

Although I seem to have accomplished much in the last several weeks, I have felt lousy for a variety of reasons. Carpel tunnel has hit me a bit hard on both hands and I hope to finish all the piece making before the doc gets to me.
Has the CrossFire group ever mentioned problems with ground clearance? We are adding one inch to the bottom over about 70% of the wheel base. The low spot is about 1.4 down but is between the front wheels. This latter piece at least goes up when the front wheels do. That makes it less of a problem, except for debris on the road.
Just before we yank all things back apart, I’ll take a bunch of picture. We’ll take more with the pieces back from powder coat. I am generally reluctant to take too many pictures of uncoated tubes as they are a bit unsightly, but keep that in mind when first looking at them.

Regards to all,

Corky
Same song different year..the saga continues
Two weeks two weeks.

So comes the close of another business week, no pictures, no update from Corky.
I see tighed1 our member who has paid in full over a year and a half ago, was on the forum a couple of days ago. But had nothing to report. It would be interesting to know if he has any new information or B/S from Corky. I guess we have to respect his decision to be silent, must have his reasons. Maybe another 2 weeks.

I miss this guys posts, I hope he is OK.

Maybe he should just say he is OK and leave it at that if he wants to.

We have done Turbo conversions before on the crossie...and we could even do a if not done by x then $ back type of thing.

Your statement here seems to contradict not only your previous statements, but all known realities.

If You have already Turbo'd Crossfires, then a bunch of R&D would be unnecessary, AND should have already been a service you offered for a set price.

To date, no one has yet to successfully get a turbo Crossfire up and running with turbo power tuned and finished. I think You just misspoke.

Now if You want to pick up the flag and carry it forward I think good open lines of communications should be paramount. We have had plenty of lies, boasts and misdirection on this project already. You are a good vendor with a great reputation, I trust You would not take on something You could not finish.

I might be interested next spring, or summer but it is very low on My priority list. Next up Finding a great low mileage well maintained 328.

I think we can disagree on some aspects.

We have done a turbo swap on a srt6 crossfire going to big numbers (as well as the c350 mb), so hence while the parts would be similar the end goal might not be the same. Hence the r&d. Most of our customers are out to make massive numbers or street times. Making a smaller kit would require a little rethinking as indicated.

the video is from 2009. Since, bryan has wanted to go bigger and better on the build. Keep in mind also when we did this, the build time was 10 days. Now, we are quite bigger then we were back then and cannot come close to that time span for a build but there is no way it would take a year + to get done.

I would be very interested in a turbo kit for my xf.
One question. . What tuning device did you use on the above xf? Was that stock injectors/fuel pump/afpr?

I would be interested, but depends on price. My car is an NA Limited, so you would have some research to get past the computer with boost where none is suppsoed to be. How much boost and HP could we be looking at for a good street car, not a racer. I would like to see something close to the SRT6 ( 330hp) at the crank.

we have figured that part out before...

We would have to look at options as noted before. A good street car is different that a lot of the builds we have worked on (push for numbers and trailer to track) but we should be able to figure out something that works at a price point that does not destroy the wallet.
