Default Oil sensor question.

Has anybody used the Mercedes version 0061532728 in place of the Chrysler SU6904? The price difference seems too extreme for them to be the same. The Chrysler programming could be different and therefore the sansor?

Oil level sensor Mercedes 0061532728 will work on the Crossfire; I believe the new Mercedes number is 2759050000.

Thank you.

When I do a search for the 2 the Chrysler part shows a metallic tip and the Mercedes part shows a plastic tip. I am guessing the plastic part is just a protector and is removed before install?

It has been a few years since I replaced mine. I do not remember removing a plastic piece from the replacement, but there are two pieces you are dealing with, perhaps that explains the difference in the pictures you are looking at; Not a difficult job. There are instructions in the link.

The assembly appears to consist of four parts according to a Mercedes parts list, but they may come as one part

Forget this I cannot make seem sensible.
