SRT6's in the UK ?
Hi John,
Where in the UK are you located...there are a few crossfire owners on the south coast. Would love the extra power the SRT6 has...but its the look of the Crossfire I love most, and still not a common site on the UK roads. Would love to see yours some time.

Hi Ken,
I'm in Andover, Hants. This is my second Crossfire, as I also love the shape and the individuality of it. The SRT does not have the G force effect of a turbo assisted car, however its acceleration is linear and seemingly endless. I'm tooled up with SatNav camera software, Road Angel and a Cheetah radar detector, not that I'm paranoid. I'm waiting for my Crossfire decals from the US, I had them last time and thought they looked really good. I now want to remove the Chrysler letters from the rear bumper that they've decided to fit to the SRT.
I'm occasionally in the south coast region, so if you want to try an SRT I'll let you know when I'm in the area. I've only had the car for a month, so will be going over to France soon to try it out on a truly 'open road'. I tested my last one to the limiter, it was very steady.
Regards,
John

Hi John,
I missed you and Pete at the Renegades Cruise...Look forward to touching base one day and seeing your Crossfire with a decent bit of additional power. Do forget, Pete and I are just a short drive away, so if you fancy a quick meet somewhere local I'm up for it, and I'm sure Pete will be also. Do keep an eye on the Renegades site there are some good car show's to attend and all make are welcome...I even have a picture on my Crossfire and earlier Marcos V8 on the members car page...a good club to join, all very friendly.
Take care.

Hi Simon
Welcome to the site..Where in Hampshire are you based? There are a few of us Crossfire owners on the South Coast New Forest, Portsmouth and Southampton way. See earlier posting for more info. Look forward to hearing and perhaps meeting soon...There is always talk about forming the first UK Crossfire Club, fingers crossed one day it may happen.
Ken.

Hi Ken, I have been on this forum for a while now, but do not ofter visit the Europe page as when I first joined hardley anyone seemed to use it in the UK.
I too am in the Portsmouth area. I noticed at the weekend that Portsmouth Chrysler has a convertible SRT-6 in Black for sale, if you know anyone after one. Looks very tidy but it has had the Startech wheels fitted and they are not to my taste, a bit too blingy !!!

Well and truely tested on those open French roads and Yes ! the speed limiter works on the SRT as well ! Angel says 152 MPH speedo says 155 MPH. Steady as a rock. This car brings French towns to a stand still, you have to park it where you can see it for the sheer fun of seeing all the guys walking round and round it trying to decide what it is, then taking photos on their phones, one with his girlfriend draped across the bonnet !! cheeky mare. All the Chrysler references have been removed and replaced with Crossfire, plus an nice AMG badge courtesy of China EBay. Any one fitted a Cheetah Radar detector, mine has really paid for itself.
