Re: First Crossfire Meet 30.12.07
Hi Ken,
It was a pleasure to be there and meet everyone (can anyone beat a 275 miles round trip ) It was very interesting to here other peoples views and experiences with the Crossfire, but can we meet somewhere warmer next time, you know Cannes, San Tropez, Blackpool, Clacton On Sea? Looking forward to the pics ! Cheers for Now Steve |
Re: First Crossfire Meet 30.12.07
Yes, it was great. We really enjoyed meeting up, seeing the cars and putting names to faces.
I have some ideas in mind for things I want to buy and talking to people who have experience with them and seeing them on the cars already makes it an easier decision to purchase. Can't beat the 275 mile round trip mine was 212. Didn't quite realise how close I was to Southampton, should have nipped down to Hythe to see my mate while I was that far south! Looking forward to seeing some pics online. Hope to see you all again soon. Did someone mention Easter? Allthe best Jean |
Re: First Crossfire Meet 30.12.07
Thanks for organising this Ken, your persistence has got us UK owners to meet up at last, you even managed to get us out in the depths of winter; with the exception of an SRT Roadster I think we had every variant of the Crossfire range! It was great to meet everyone and finally put some faces to names. Here's some of the pics from the day:

Re: First Crossfire Meet 30.12.07
Woody,
thanks for posting the pictures. Great. I ordered my wind deflector at about 6 this evening. Looking forward to fitting it when it comes. I would not be my father's daughter or sister to any of my brothers if I wasn't a bit handy with the tool kit! I guess cars and trucks are bred into me... Jean |

Happy new Year to all members :p :D :)
I have more pictures of the crossfire meet, but for some reason I'm unable to upload them. So will post them in the new year. I noticed on the trouble shooting section there are a good few members that are having the same problems with uploading their pictures and no suggestion are posted as to why. Any thoughts or answers? Cheers  Ken |

Its usually best to just upload some smaller 640x480 copies though so that they fit on the screen. It's dead easy as you just click the img link under the photos in your gallery and the full link gets copied to the clipboard ready for you to paste. |
Re: First Crossfire Meet 30.12.07
Thanks Woody..will give it a try. Its all been said before, but what a great gathering we had last sunday. I guess we eight are now all founder members of the first UK Crossfire Owners Club.!.. remember the old saying, from little acorns etc etc.
Let the warmer weather appear and perhaps the UKCOC can meet at some of the more interesting locations that were mentioned. A good new year to one and all...I think April, Jane and Jean deserve a special thank you for adding a bit of female company to our meet! Ken :p |
