Yes it fits a 2003 SLK. I just wasn't sure how close it cam to fitting our cars. 2003 SLK will fit our opening? I like the OEM look as well and it doesn't look like a Chrysler mini van.

CKS Performance runs full page color ads in Mercedes Enthusiast Magazine which feature some nice Mercedes' that have no center star in the grille. I went to their web site to see if they had a grille that could be adapted to my Crossfire. I have been anxious to see if the grille openings are close enough to make this work. If this will fit, I am going to buy one! Might just be a bolt in replacement!

Yeah, let me know how it fits I like it too! I first measured a SLK when I parked next to one years ago and I believe all C class are very close to the same size.

So does anyone know for sure if the SLK 170 and our cars have the exact same size grill opening?

If you're refering to the grill on the attached pic, the curvature of the perimeter is completely different.

Look above at my previos post of the grille from CKS performance. It comes in Silver or black or you can paint it any color you want.
