With shipping, that's $27.00 for just two "labels" (i.e., "decals") for the front and back only. On the German site, it's about the same price for four wheel center cap "labels," too. I'll stick with andrew's emblems any time. Better deal; better service; a known quality product; and a great guy. Makes sense to me...

 

The product looks more like an emblem than a decal to me. We need to get somebody on the forum to buy a couple and get feedback on the product.

It sounds like the intended use of these emblems is not the same as Andrew's. I can picture these emblems showing up above the strakes.

 

The text on the web page explains that "included is 1 piece for the front ( Grills ) and 1 piece for the Backide of your car" and that "The Labels are self-adhesive and resistant in all weather," so the placement seems to be the same as the OEM oblongs in the two Chrysler chrome wings. The title of the listing is "2 Pcs. Chrysler Crossfire - Custom Grill Doming Decals." The photos do make the items appear to be three-dimensional, but the text seems to suggest otherwise by calling them "decals" and "doming self-adhesive labels." But you're right, of course -- personal feedback from a buyer is the best way to get these answers.

Maxxum makes good points. It depends on how you read the ad for the product. But, now we will get the answer from alen.

In any regard, the decals/emblems provide the buyer more options for their car.

 

I was just going to email them and see if they will make a Renntech emblem for the front and back. Like you said these look 3-D with a thick clear top.

 

Note that in the fine print the company says they will make any changes you want for a premium over the eBay price. They sure have a great selection of colors and graphics to choose from.

If they are emblems as you describe (and it is what the photos show), I will be getting a set for my car.

Looking at the emblem that showes the V6 info, it looks like they tried to make the V6 info look like chrome but it appears to just be a flat picture trying to show a dD effect of chrome. I could not tell from the angle of your picture in the gallery. Does the "chrome" look exactly the same no matter what direction you hold the emblem?

Doesn't it have a self adhesive backing? If so, you would probably just stick it over the current emblem.

 

they look more like aluminum/stainless steel.
they bend light when you move them special on red.
they are stick on ones but I THINK THEY LOOK TO BUMP OUT IF I PUT THEM ON TOP OF THE OLD ONES.

 

These are called "Dometag Brand Labels" in this country. I'm sure you can Google the company and have them made up but the key is quantity. They are 3 dimensional or thicker than a label, probably an 1/8" or more thick. Similar to the Karmann tag that many of us received from Germany. Price will be dictated by size, number of colors and quantity.

What are the measurements (size) of the emblems? Do they have tape so they can be applied directly to the body of the car without using glue?
