Default Installing fogs, what else do I need

I just bought a pair of fog light assemblies on ebay to install on my base roadster.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWN:IT&ih=006

They are just the assembly, no bulbs.

So, what else do I need to wire these up (I have read the threads on wiring in the switch and think I can handle that end). Do I just need a pair of 9006 pigtails like these, or do I need something else?

Sorry I can't help you with the installation, but you bought the old style.. :'( The little silver cap is eventually going to pop out and bounce around on the inside of the foglight assembly..

Is there anything I can do before I install them to help with that?

It most likely will, eventually. Many many members have had this issue, and taken them to the dealer. Result = new fog lights, with a new style. The new bulbs do not have these caps. I took a screwdriver to mine and manually popped out the cap..and got new ones

I have an '04 - never had any popping off of the caps. However about two months ago my right fog cracked clean across the middle. Has yet to break but I am planning on upgrading to the new ones when I have the time and funds. I am not sure if the new versions have a different type of plastic?

To be honest though I would have boughten those fogs you got on ebay at $50 a pop too!

Then a week later, a set of the new style went cheaper, though.

I did the same thing you did. Have you installed the lights yet?
I think it should be, on a scale of 1-10, A 7.
The wireing is the trick. I think I can use the stock switch?
Any tips???
