Re: Front End Bra
~ i suggest a clear bra (Paint Protection Film - XPEL Technologies Corp.)
but if you go with a bra as your referring to... 'wolf' makes the real nice one. |
Re: Front End Bra
I use the one supplied from Chrysler dealers Nice Quality

Re: Front End Bra
I have a covercraft bra, only used it once on the trip to St Louis C.A.A.,no problems .My only concern was the tight fit between the hood and the wing. The bra sure made cleaning the bugs off during a 6600 mile trip :D

Re: Front End Bra
I use a Covercraft Car Cover and the Chrysler Issued Bra. I only use that when I am on the road, keep it (the bra) stowed behind the drivers seat. If you go the clear route make sure the installer knows what they are doing. If I was on the road more I'd have done that.

Re: Front End Bra
I'm considering one of their front end bras for my roadster. I have their Weather Shield HP car cover and it is really nice. I'm guessing that the quality of their bra would be equivalent. I don't know if the Chrysler dealers here (Toronto) have any bras available nor what their price would be. I like the one in the pic in this thread. Does anyone have any photos of the Carcover version? Any thoughts on it? Does it use those cheesy elastics and metal clips?
The cost is only about $90 and it would be worth it for the trips on the 401 at speed. I'd appreciate any feedback John |
Re: Front End Bra
I have the same OEM cover that hcarter is using and like the way it fits. I removed the front mesh material so it doesn't obscure my chrome grill (as per another members suggestion). I don't recall what I payed but thought it was a pretty good deal through Ebay.

Re: Front End Bra
I realize this thread is dated, but wanted to ask this question anyway. Will a genuine MOPAR front end bra for a 2005-2006 Crossfire fit the other model years? Specifically my 2007 Limited Coupe.
Thanks, |
Re: Front End Bra
Yes, there were never any changes in the headlights, hood, fenders or bumper covers throughout the entire model run.
( SRT6 of course a different bumper cover ) Looking at this one ? : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mopar-822079...NZOoIS&vxp=mtr |

Re: Front End Bra
Actually the one I was looking at may be the one for the SRT-6, based on the P/N.

Also the covers came for cars with a front plate and without a front plate. So there are four separate designs for the cover, two (NA and SRT) with a plate and two (NA and SRT) without a plate. Four separate part numbers. CLICK |

The picture shows an NA, but says '05 and '06 years which could mean only for SRT's, the list below says it fits on NA's and SRT's which is not true.

Re: Front End Bra
Had some conversation with an eBay vendor selling MOPAR bras for the XFire. Found out this one is the P/N I need: CLICK

Re: Front End Bra
Since I'm working on paint chips on the front end right now, I went ahead & bit the bullet. Bought a Chrysler front end bra w/o the plate opening for my 2007 Coupe. Last new one the dealer had in inventory. Cost me $0.99 to ship it!

Re: Front End Bra
Bought the correct one for my 2007 Coupe - No Front Plate.

Re: Front End Bra
Chrysler Front End Bra arrived today. As soon as I finish up the paint chips on the front end, I'll see how it fits.
