Default HID Headlamps

I am planning on upgrading my lows to HID this summer. I researched quite a bit here as there are many old threads concerning this.

My question is, those of you that have done this before, what type of kits have you found to have the best luck with over the past few years. I'm looking for a good decent kit that doesn't break the bank.

Thanx in advance.

Tired

Maxcichon recommended to me this seller on ebay.
This is where I got mine from back in April 2009.

Max installed them at the Dragon GTG for me.

A coworker got a set out of a toyota siennia van, 35 watts, low beams. They had a dual prong/gray cap that I imagine plugs into the stock wiring. If I can get them from him, would they work in my car? They are in good shape and clean

The Crossfire uses H7 bulbs, the Sienna uses 9006 bulbs. I wouldn't bother.

I would search for Xentech kit. I have used several of them over the years and they are cheap and reliable. I would order 2 kits though, so if you do have a bulb or ballast go out, you will not be fumbling around trying to find an overpriced bulb or ballast locally (the kits are $35 shipped). If you find the right reseller, you will get a decent warranty.

I found a seller with good prices, free shipping and a 2 year warranty.

Here is the link to his store if any one else is interested: Hid-Technik

Pat, do yourself a favor and either use a small magnet or a piece of string around the clips that hold the bulbs in. Many have dropped them into the housing - just trying to save you some grief on the install. And if you have a friend with 'carney' (small) hands, have them come over for the install

Yeup i just recieved and installed my hid lights from the above link hid tech i believe his seller name is on ebay for $35. im have some problems with them because when i turn my car on i give it a minute and then turn them on. Some times one light turns on and not the other and vis versa. Some times neither of them come on and some time with luck they both come on, I also am alittle upset because they are blue. i did ask for 5k which is supposed to be the natural white light but they are blue so im sure there either 6k or 7k. Well sorry for the rant but im extremely frustrated, any suggestions?
