Headlight bulb replaced but light won't work

Hey guys!

So I replaced the headlight bulb (driver side) this morning BUT nothing! No light at all. I know it's the right bulb (H7) - what am I missing?
Thanks for any help --
Nick

1, You did put the new bulb in and not the old one?

2, Did you pull on the wires to remove the socket? In which case you could have broken a connection

3, The new bulb could be broken already, run a meter on it or something to test the element.

Does the high beam work on that side? If it works check fuse #8 in fuse box that's on the side of the driver side dash panel. It should be a blue 15 amp fuse.

Just checked it, the high beams are working on both sides,so I guess I did not hurt the connection, did I? It just started to rain - so I might have to postpone this project till later on. BUT I have to drive to Miami, so I guess one light will do - got the feeling this means getting pulled over on the Highway lol...damn it!

The socket you pull for the low beam bulb would only affect that bulb, no other.

Does this mean the old bulb is OK?
If a fuse blows it's best to know why it blew.

No the bulb was definitely broken and so was the fuse. Will keep an eye on it. Everything seems to work out fine now, the light shines a bit low to the ground so today or tomorrow whenever I get the chance I will play around with the bulb again to adjiust it to the right position!
