A bit crude on the edges, which you mentioned in the other thread, but otherwise very nice results. I think I may do this to mine when I get a bunch of free time.
Looks good. Where did you get your LEDs from?

Really nice job and write up! Hope you don't mind me adding in a picture so people can see it before downloading the pdf.

I opened the PDF and had a hard time moving past the first picture of a melted light. Taking a deep breath I moved on, I for one will not be doing this at any time before hell freezes over.

The look is OK I guess, but not by doing it this way.

My biggest laugh came with your final statement;

Don’t steal my work please…. And don’t say its your own..give some credit it took a long time to do this…about 5 hours a headlight…THIS WAS DONE specially for the Crossfire FORUM cuz it ROCKS..like AC/DC
Trust me, I would not dream of it.:rolleyes:

I don't mind at all....and you can put this backtogether almost factory like...if you have the time and patience..I don't ..no one is ever going to see the edges not even if you open the hood .. and is water sealed ... this was my second time opening this same headlight as you can see in the 1st pic it had the led's...I was just replacing the blue leds to super whites...so it got more messy..and like I stated on the pdf...I melted the plastic to butter like
temps...its up to you how neat you want
it...so stop your whinning and move forward 180

I'm not whining, I just think it's a buggered up job. What's your day job - a butcher?

Glad you asked, I'm a Doctor in Physical Therapy recently graduated from UTEP last month.

Great job on the write-up! I'm way too lazy to do it myself, but thanks for the hard work and contribution.

The mocking personal attacks posted here are NOT in the spirit of this forum. A member here took the time and effort to share his experience in making a modification to his Crossfire and is proudly sharing that experience for the possible benefit of others. If you don't like what you see, keep your "smart a$$" comments to yourself and move on! I, for one, am tired of having to wade through counterproductive posts that add no value and simply clutter up this forum.

Thank you, Red Dog...yeah, some of the work ended up cobby, but that's what happens when you use heat, sometimes...the personal attacks are unnecessary.

So we can only comment on what we like, what about free speech?

Not his point, I don't believe (I stand to be corrected)...don't you think it's infantile to disparage someone's attempts like they have been so far? Free speech only goes as far as infringing on someone else's rights, to be fair. Yeah, you can say what you want, but there are better ways to make a negative observation...

Don't take 180 too seriously. Most of what he say's in good fun, and keep in mind he's only 72. :)
