Paint colors under-hood

Hello posters! Hope your Memorial Day weekend was a great one! My red 2004 XFire has some of the flat black paint missing around the plastic just behind the grille (can only see with hood opened). How/where do I find the paint code or whatever to match the original? Also, is the air filter housing originally all silver (I'm normally aspirated) or was the Chrysler wing-emblem originally more "emblem-like"? Thanks y'all!

This should be good...I'm wondering if you are going to try some of that "dry" humor ;)

Yea, most likely the 'rethinking' is on a paint code for flat black.

I would simply use some 'trim' black or 'near flat' black, not quite as matte as a flat, but just enough sheen to blend in well. I have used to on numerous items on several cars...
