brake light problem

Hello guys, My 3rd brake light works fine. My other two ( either side) does not work. I checked the bulbs and the fuse. I can't figure why one works but not all three, any IDEAs

I had the same problem. Be sure the bulb is put in the right way. Try taking the bulb out and turning it half way and reinserting it. They will fit two ways, the wrong way and the right way. It worked for me when I changed my bulbs and they did not work the first time I put them in.

I had two new bulbs that where no good. I checked them with a small battery charger and they did not light up. I replaced them from another store and they are working fine now. Thanks all for the help

FYI If you put the bulbs in, they fit two ways (each a half turn). The warning light on dash will come on indicating a bulb out even though it is working (it will be dim). Turn bulb half way and reinsert and the warning light will go out.

Also, found PepBoys Auto Parts has the best price on the bulbs.
