Default new paint job on my srt6

As promised in earlier post -https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/crossfire-srt6/72121-long-s-black-not-long.html- I would get some better pics of my new paint.
They are not the best pics but they do show off the candy better than the photos i took with my phone.
I'm still up in the air on what I want to do with my wheels and calipers.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !!!!!
I would leave the wheels alone, and maybe go with the same candy apple on the calipers. JMHO.
Bring it to the Dragon this fall so I can marvel at it !

Looks good.
Black wheels and matching red calipers might look good.
How did you separate the two colors in the doors etc. That is always a tricky point to do correctly.
OK, I see the answer in the previous thread.

I cheated. The rocker is black so the jamb looks ok in my opinion.

I can't wait to find time to sand and polish it. Then it will really pop.

I like it, a lot. As far as the wheels go I wouldn't completely black them out. Just the spokes or just the outer rim. I'd play around with some black tape on the rims to refine the idea first.

I agree!

With the bottom portion being black, matching the rims would look phenomenal! Don't get me wrong, I appreciate machined style wheels (just view my album), but if this were my X-fire, I'd go with black wheels this time around.

Very nice! The rear shot has Marlin written all over it. I would like to try that one day on my Blaze red.

Thanks for all the kind words.
My original plan was black wheels leaving the Lip stainless and red calipers.
I think that's what I am going to do.
Now I just need to find the time to do it.

Very nice Sir! I like the two tone, and if you haven't cut it yet then its looking amazing. I didn't read the other thread, are you doing this yourself? Blake rims and red calipers are the way to go there.

BB is getting a new paint job right now, and I am hoping she is ready when I get home.

Wow, I'm speechless with a totally different opinion on the color scheme. However, it's nice that we all have varying tastes and kudos to Stryfox for creativity and the guts to go for it.

Good to see you are still around grip grip.
That's ok. It's not for everyone. If everyone liked it I probably wouldn't. Lol

I was just reading a thread you wrote on nos window switch. I'm still running without one. Mind you the button never really gets pushed but I think I need a safer setup so I don't worry as much.

Thanks. As for taste, everyone questions my wife's due to her choice in husband. As for the window switch, I think it's something that can only be justified after it's too late.

Awesome job, I like the look and the finish looks great. I had a repaint planned for the downtime but I just suffered a stroke and don't know if I'll be recovered enough to get it done. It may have to wait a bit. Although I like the way the wheels look now, this may call for a tasteful plastiwrap application and caliper treatment.
