High Beam H7 Fitment
High Beam H7 Fitment
Hey all! Long story short... haven't used this car for 12 years and due to someone wrecking my other vehicle I am using this as a temp! Felt good to see the old forum still around!
I needed to update the headlights so I ordered some OPT7 Fluxbeam LED Headlight Kit: H7 which fit perfectly in the low beams but the LED head seems to long to fit in the high beam. Anyone else experience this?? Did you find a work around?

Re: High Beam H7 Fitment
Most have decided against the LED's until one can be found that fits inside the unit and still allows the sealing caps to be installed, too much chance of excess moisture fogging the insides.
If these allow that, please report.
Also, most report that the 2 sided LED layout does not provide a good beam pattern with our projector headlights.

Thanks! So far so good on the low beams. I run these exact LEDs in my Exige and ran it in my Nismo Juke till it ended up being crushed. They produce amazing light and even in the lotus' projectors come across drastically brighter than standard H7 bulbs.
My new LEDs are light years brighter than my high beams now when I flick them on hahaha!

These bulbs have a horizontal no-bearing fan for cooling.
I'll report back what they say.

TRS ( The Retrofit Source in Atlanta ) has a new offering, the H7 Morimoto LED bulbs. They say you can even get a 'cap extender' to keep the units sealed, I have an inquiry into them asking if they have actually installed in a Crossfire. The cost is reasonable at $135. They also have the 9006 ones for the fogs at the same price per pair.

On one set ( high or low ), the bulb tab points up, on the other it points down.
