Fog Light Bolts
I replaced the front bumper assembly on my SRT6 and I'm ready to mount the fog lights but can't seem to locate the proper size bolts. The hardware store doesn't have anything that will fit. Does anyone know what size they are or have a pic of one. It looks like Chrysler doesn't list them as I'm seeing more and more parts being discontinued for these cars.

A bolt is a bolt, these will be metric and they are around somewhere, you'll just have to keep looking. You would not want to buy them from dealer anyway - too pricy.
Dealer was a no go , did not show any bolts on the exploded view of the bumper. Trying to restore this car with all new OEM parts when available or extra clean used parts when thats all thats available. Those j nuts take a proprietary bolt that won't be found just any where. Will just have to find someone parting one out I can't even find a pic of one online.

Of all places Lowes carries just the selection of bolts and clips that were needed. just in case anyone needs the blots they are made by Hillman M4.2-1.41x20. Also used for two of the splash shield clips.
Good to know 😉 thanks.
Seems to me that that is a really odd ball screw, 4.2 mm diameter and a pitch of 1.41. That is an extremely coarse pitch for such a small diameter screw. Odd ball numbers as well.
Sounds like its really an english / us bolt. As said a bolt is a bolt, nothing to get up about.
If they thread into plastic they can be a wood screw like fastener, again its a fastener. Woody Enjoy

I purchased the car without front and rear bumper assemblies, so all of the little bits and pieces had to be sourced to reattach the new parts. One of the disadvantages of using new parts, you don't get all of the nuts, clips and screws. It's almost like putting together a puzzle.

Thanks. The SRT 6 is finally on the road again, it just needs a few minor parts to be a complete car again. Hopefully by the end of the year it will be torn apart, repainted and lowered. I'm looking to get it as close to perfect as possible.
