Isn't SEMA only for manufactuers? How do I get tickets, and where is it this year?

 

Las Vegas...I believe it has been there for a while.

I am trying to go myself, but work may keep me from it.

 

Hey Drew I'll be at SEMA this year (just like the last four years lol). I'm staying at the Luxor and I arrive Wednesday night. I have a few administrative responsibilities but maybe we can meet for dinner Thursday or Friday night. Give me a call Wednesday night in Vegas and we'll meet.

I will be there on Thursday 11/1 only. Flying in and out.

 

I'll be there the whole week - but I'll actually be working on and off at the Ford booth keeping the cars dusted and de-fingerprinted.

I got a call from Meguiar's last week asking if I'd be willing to spend Monday before the show detailing cars (Ford contracts Meguiar's to do this every year) with a couple of other guys and then just keep 'em dust and fingerprint free through the show. Then Tues through Friday I only have to work 4 hours each day (actually get to knock off at 1:00PM on Friday) and Meguiar's is covering my hotel room, food, and actually paying me fairly decent money to do this. On top of that I get a bunch of Meguiar's logo clothing AND I get to attend the Ford VIP Party on Wednesday night!!! So when they asked if I'd be willing to do this I mulled it over for about a nanosecond!!! Yeah, I'm a bit excited about this!!!

 

less than a week away ... can't wait...

 

Yep, I'm driving out Sunday AM - getting out from under all this smoke will be a nice change!! I did get word the other day that the Ford VIP Party has been cancelled due to budget constraints. Geez, that must have normally been one heck of a party Ford used to throw!!!
