Veteran's Day...
Thank you to those who have served and a special salute to those who never came home. Here is a poem, it has a lot of meaning... In Flanders Fields By: Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD (1872-1918) Canadian Army IN FLANDERS FIELDS the poppies blow Between the crosses row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. Lest us Not Forget |

Re: Veteran's Day...
Now you make me feel guilty for not posting here but I can tell you that I did copy and paste the poem and saved the photo to a file and combined them to send in an email to my many friends in my personal email address book some of which have served in the military. Your post has reminded all of us of our freedom. Thank You.
