Exclamation Please Help!

hey you guys, there seems to be some really intelligent people on this site, I need some help, I went to the dealership and bought a car, they really screwed me big time! they talked and talked and it all sounded good but in the end they hid the interest rate on the contract and they told me it was gonna be 6.6% well it ended up being 22% and now my payments are high as heck! does anyone know a government site or anything that gives dealerships a bad rep or something that will get my problem noticed?? thanks for any help guys, I greatly appreciate it.

How many days has it been? Many states have a cooling off period (or something like that) during which you can change your mind and nix the deal.

sorry to hear about that. at least in CA i know you have a few days that you are actually able to return the call for a full refund as long as you don't exceed 300 miles i believe.

post the dealer's name so we all know who is not all that trustworthy.

if you really like the car, refinance. i used capitaloneauto.com a while back. they post their rates (very competitive) and approve it in minutes.

Utah has no kind of law whatsoever for this what they do to people is just criminal! well I guess I will just refinance if I can, the dealership is only Utah based I think but its called Midway Auto Plaza, associated with Mike Riddle mitsubishi

the car you bought I also bought a 04 with 44k for 13K out the door, If you think you got ripped off take it back and talk to the manager, the First thing I do is ask the intrest rate,,,22% is really bad....you must have had bad credit in the past for that high of a rate, a CU will be better then a bank in most cases.....
