I'd like to introduce myself
 

Hello, my names Adam, Im 28 and I have a new addiction. I just purchased an 04 coupe with the 6 speed and have not been able to stop thinking about the car since. Oddly theres only 2 cars Ive purchased that did not cause buyers remorse, my 85 rx7 and this vehicle. I am hooked. I love the style, the stance, the handling, well, I like it all really. But there is a touch of bad, the paint is chipped (alabastor white) and the interior is well broke in(grey on rust red/organe) sounds like there maybe be a lifter tick or a rod knock (im a rotary guy, so this is going to be a little bit of a learning curve) and 5th and 6th gear syncro's are going out.
The lifter tick is mild but Im sure that the engine is going to go quick with my spirited driving. The trans Im less worried about as I dont smash it past 4th and in the autocross I wont go past 2nd. Anyway, this is all stuff for a different post.
Back to me. Im 28, married with a youngin. Im in the Army (mechanic) and Im an avid racer, however Im not to into drag racing or nascar. Im more of a targa/rally kinda guy. Im origanally from the greatest state in the Union, Michigan, but Im stationed in the sandbox of America, El Paso Tx. My other car is a white 85 mazda rx7. Its in the process of a full tear down a rebuild into a race car, It will be sans interior cush, just whats needed for racing and some audio stuff. Mmmm, yeah, thats about it. I pretty much do nothing but cars, and Call Of Duty, spend some time with the family. Ill post some pics of my cars up soon. And I have a slew of questions that Ill be asking as well.

Thanks for the welcomes. SilverSaph COD MW2 looks sick, you play on xbox or ps3? I think I will be addicted to this site, it looks to have a lot of good info, and I hope to be able to contribute with the knowledge that I have as well.

Welcome Adam, as other have said, a great place for info and to meet some great people. I would highly recommend looking into some GTGs because there are quite a few of you XF owners in the 'sandbox'.....

Modern Warfare is one of my favorite games of all time...

welcome to the forum. you will definately enjoy the car. there are a few people that autoX a good bit. Off the top of my head users waldig and kit fox do...though i'm sure there are a lot of others.

The Crossfire is by far the most fun I have ever had with a car as well.

Wheew, its getting rediculously hot here. 101 for the high today, over the weekend it hit 110. Ill take a pic of the temp gauge next time its that hot, which will no doubt be sometime this week. Anyway, Zahanma, Ill hit oyu up this weekend on the xbox, three of us play on one machine, passing the contorl around, lately we have been on world at war. But its about time to switch back to MW.
