Berkshire's money

I never knew that local communities are allowed to print their own currency.

Re: Berkshire's money

wouldn't this place be a counterfeiting dream?

aside from that the store owners are losing 10 percent on everything or they are just marking prices up.

and if you spend it dollar for dollar then could you not just get $1000 berkshares for $900 U.S. dollars and then go to another bank and trade it back for $1000 dollars.

I doubt it the comsumer is getting screwed still because it costs a lot of money to print that stuff up and they end up paying for it with tax dollars or at a inflated rate of normal prices.
