According to a recent leak of the Official PlayStation Magazine, GT5 has alot more packed into it than anyone expected. With over 3 years of hype, lets face it, our expectations are high as is. Well coming with GT5 will be this
-Night time racing
-Indy Cars and all Indy tracks will be included in the game. Lets note this is on top of the already listed GT, Nascar, and offroad series cars and tracks that have been announced.
-Over 1000 cars will be included in the game at high resolution details, both interior and exterior.
-150 special cars will see interior damage along with exterior damage.
-All cars in the game will see at least exterior damage ranging from beauty marks, to mechanical troubles.
-16 Players in one race online.
-Headtracking is confirmed for the game, hello Natal meet PSEye?
-Multi-screen use is confirmed, 3 PS3's can be used to have a bigger view.
-Weather is confirmed for the game, along with night and day racing.

 

There is a crossfire in it. I dont think there is going to be a srt though. Its also really annoying because they say there is going to 900 cars or so, but they coun't a civic and a civic si as two different cars.

Superb and about time too. Been waiting ages for the release of this game. I've had the Prologue version for what seems like years now.

We'll have to set up a CrossfireForum competition of who can get around the Nurburgring the quickest in a XF SRT-6 and post the screen shot of the lap time on here as evidence.

 

I got gran turismo for psp yesterday and finally got the crossfire today! Went and did a speed test and it got up to 155! (with another car pushin me a bit)In a 2004 alabaster n/a crossfire The spoiler deploys correctly also. I just wish I could find a way to import replays onto my computer. Its a .dat file and I cant find a converter that works. I was curious to see that it is a 04 na crossfire But it has 6 gears...sooo I think it might be a mix between the srt and the n/a.....215 Hp/228.55 Ft lband 1361 Kg weight.

 

Is there a web source where I can find out what cars are offered?

Not sure who you are responding to but just in case, Forza 3 has an SRT-6 as one of the cars for the XBOX.

 

I got my SRT to 198mph in the game on Road Atlanta , right before I ran into the sand trap.

 

Nice!! I have not run the SRT yet so I will check it out. Was that on a tune or in stock form?

 

That was with every performance mod available. No aerodynamics stuff though, it slows it down(top speed wise).

 

I wish you could mod the cars on the psp version of gran tursimo ...Im sure you will be able to on the ps3 version. I wanna play Forza 3 but I dont want to have to buy a ps3 and a x-box 360 just for these two games lol so I am gonna have to go with the ps3/gran turismo 5 combo
