Yo... Friendly Tire Expert,

What kind of replacement tire would you recommend for the neighbor kid's "high speed" motorized scooter???

I just had to get that in!!!

BTW: I had a few hours to kill today, so I threw my old Xfire tire in the back of the Jeep and visited three tire shops. Two said they would not even plug it much less put a patch on it. The one place said they "would" of patched it. Go figure.

Believe me, I really could of used the $484.41 I paid for the new tire somewhere else.

When I had my puncture the tire was taken off the rim and it was patched on the inside. Then remounted and balanced. $ 65.00.

The dealer sent me to a performance tire shop. The dealer couldn't break down anything bigger than 18 inch wheels. My flat was the left rear. Kramer tire can do up to 22 inch wheels. They did a great job. I've put 2,500 miles on the car since then and all is fine.

discount tire patch / plugged mine for 13 dollars out the door.

Scooter? Hmm. Metzhler M1's are what I use on the bike. Very sticky, get maybe 3500 miles out of it. www.discountmotorcycletire.com is where I order from.
