And, I am a software engineer..... Crap, every time I thing I have things figured out, I have to start learning all over again. LOL Oh well, they say an active brain keeps you young.

That video makes me extremly uncomfortable. To explain this would be a big debate that can't be put into this little box. But all this technology seems to distance poeple from each other.

That's a pretty frequent conversation my sister and my dad have.
I personally, hate technology. My computer keeps dying and I don't know why, internet never seems to work, and I can't turn the alarm off on my watch. Computers suck.

I know that, in the small company I work for, we've exceeded 8 terabytes of data (1 terabyte=50,000 trees made into paper) in less than 1 year.
I know that Shanghai, China is now the largest city in the world in population, 19.4 million & growing (city pop. only - does not include external urban areas).
I know that China has 48 cities with populations over 1 million (2002). The U.S. has 9.
I know that, according to futurist Ray Kurzweil, the human race will merge with nanotechnology by the year 2040 in what he calls The Singularity.
