Im hoping you folks can help my wife and I sort out a glich with receving money via paypal from an item she sold on ebay.

OK here goes, my wife just started selling items on ebay. Her first item sold to a last second outta no where bidder. We reviewed this bidder's purchase history and she seems legit;several purchases and good feedback relating she pays fast.

The lady still has one day left to pay, we understand that much. My question is....Im letting my wife use my paypal account to buy and to receive payments from ebay. She set up her seller info using my paypal account and email etc. Does the fact that its my paypal account in my name only (although Im cool with it) gonna cause a glitch? To me it seems as if the buyer buys something then whatever paypal/email address she is given is going to be the one that her money goes into...Correct?

Yes, It will go to the account that the email address is linked to.

 

I have switched my email addresses several times for PP and never a problem with eBay.

pooly, I wouldn't get too nervous. I have missed paying on time before while on the road. Not something I like to do, but I can't always check my mail or computer while on the road. If she doesn't pay you have other options to get your money...good luck... It will come to the account you use...

 

It should work the way you have it. Give her time to pay. If she doesnt contact her.

OK, one last question Does the money stay in my paypal account, sorta in limbo for future purchases and keeps me from putting more on my visa? If so can I transfer it to my bank account if I wanted to?

 

The money will stay in your PP account, but you can transfer what you want to your bank account, and move funds from your bank account to your PP account.

 

thanks. we have listed a bunch of purses and an authentic BMW M series mens wallet over 20 years old in great shape. I wating to see what the Bimmer crowd will pay for that!

 

Last year I opened a separate checking account at a different bank just for my PP account. I keep a minimum amount in there just to cover my purchases. Any large purchases I use my CC for additional protection.

I don't like to have my regular account connected to PP in case some hacker tries to clear out my account.
