On a related note, I will unfortunately not be able to make this as I will be on my way to Houston. I wish you all the best and will be speaking with you soon. Heck, there may even be an early retirement gift from me.

Sure wish I could make it Chas. This old flat foot, just had his first interview for a Chief's job. Didn't think I would do that as I would like to give it up this year as well, even though I just work part-time, the training continues as you know. 80 applied, narrowed to 15 for the second round of interviews. I made the cut. We old cops never give up. I know you will continue on somewhere else if you haven't taken something already. It is more fun the next time around, when you know you don't have to do it...lol. Good luck to you, and wish me luck...
