My MG chapter is having a Fall color tour this week end.My 59 MGA is apart while I fix a Transmission issue. My SE roadster fills the same function. It is a sport car. Off to Hueston woods. With the top down. gary

 

Years ago we did a Saturn Rally that ended in Hueston Woods. Camped there seveal times and even rented a pontoon boat.

 

Gary, I hope you get a better reception from your MG friends, than I do from my AMC club. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY hardly ever pays any attention at all to my Crossfire. I never really expected much interest from the AMC gang, but you would think there would be a little curiosity as to why I rebadged it as an AMX. Mostly it's considered just another orphan car, and ignored at most GTG's I attend with them.
I usually just sluff it off, and enjoy the time I have with my friends. Hopefully next year I'll get my AMX back on the road and they can ignor that too.lol

 

No problem with my friends. I have driven my Mini and Sunbeam Tiger at past events. They call me lucky. I am glad to have a group to drive with. All motor heads.most have driven my cars as I have theirs. gary

 

Event yesterday. Beautiful weather, 22 cars.My Crossfire was a hit.Comments on it's speed, handling and condition. First Srt6 roadster most had seen. I did not drive my SE. Other non MG was, XJS Jaguar, a Miatia, Toyota MR2, new Mini and Soltice. A very good day. Gary
