That's not exactly what I said. Pacemaker and Murfi are so much a part of the gathering and so important to it. At least in my mind and heart.
But I understand your misunderstanding.

Yes, I'm still coming to the Dragon and bringing Crumpy along with me. And,
looking forward to seeing you as well.

I went to the Celebration of Life for Johnathan and his son Eric who pass on 9/16/16 as well, just 5 days before his father. Murfi is surrounded by family an friends, as she should. I signed the book, "From all your friends @ Crossfire forum.org." If you never met them, it was truly your loss. They were beautiful people, who spread the message of love and the word of God.

Steve, if you don't mind sharing, what caused Eric's untimely demise ?
I just can't imagine what Murfi is going through, even with loving family support.
My heart goes out to her, such a sweet lady.

Yea, I want to know as well. I know full well about Jonathan's condition, most of us did.

Anyone who ever went to a Dragon event knows Jonathan (well, except for the fact that he had to leave early this spring due to an issue with his condition).

Truly two wonderful people.

I'm sorry the family did not speak of Eric's condition, relevant to his passing.
Many pictures were displayed from throughout Jonathan's life. His Crossfire owners cap, a small replica car and pictures of his ride, were but a few. He truly enjoyed his car and all the friends ,he and Murfi had come to know ,from being a part of the Tail of the Dragon's GTG.

Steve, I didn't realize you were there. Charlie, John, Ella, and I also attended. It was a beautiful service. I always enjoyed Jonathans company. His laugh was infectious and he was always so inquisitive. Are you going to be joining us at the Dragon this weekend?

Losing a family member is a significant loss & a difficult time for family. But losing 2 family members within the span of a week is unbearable in my mind & creates sorrow beyond imagination. Roberta & I have the family in our prayers and hope they rejoice in the fact that both members are in the arms of the Lord & Jesus Christ.

Gary has been talking to Murfi - all we can do is pray for her.
She is invited to the Dragon meet - but says she probably could not handle it, but she DOES know she is welcome and a BIG part of our group.

I'll never forget my last talk with him, with them. I went up to do the "Sticky Key" fix on their car and stayed in their home overnight.

Since his death I have been combing over the Facebook pages reading all the comments and condolences and I read this particular one yesterday and chose to quote it here:

"I loved this man...we had a very special friendship.
He and Murfi -- so easy to love.
I talked to him while he was still hooked up to the equipment.
He said he'd like to stick around but he was so ready to go.
His confidence was secure in the Lord.
He walked the talk.
I was shocked by the turn of events but rejoice that his absence from the body is PRESENCE with the Lord."

I find some comfort in knowing he was prepared and ready and faced this end of life with strength and a peaceful mind >

Obituary
My dad said to me, to all of us, "It's time for me to go... I want to go." That seemed so right AND so odd to me, I was 36 and could not imagine being "ready to go". It occured to me - we all cried when Dad died, all of us, except for him.

That DID help me. A lot. And this quote above helps, too.

Some may say the icons I use reflects something other than the sadness we feel whenever one we love crosses over to the promised life we all eventually hope to achieve. I happen to know Jonathan is exactly where he knows he is, and we all strive to be. It took me a few to post my prose but I know we all cannot adequately express earthly words to describe heavenly aspirations one so deservingly achieves. Celebrate our physical companionship, knowing we all face judgement. I celebrate Jonathan's assention!

That's great Gary, I'm sure Murfi will appreciate it. I keep his last pm ,at the top of my list, just to make myself smile, some days.
