Default Favorite Driving Music?

I'm just curious what your favorite music is when driving the Xfire.

Mine is a young man named Aynsley Lister, a British blues/rock artist. The only bad thing is that his albums are all released in UK. Very Hard to find over here in the states. If you members in UK and Europe get a chance, go see him, you won't regret it.
Here is the link to his site, and if you scroll to the bottom of his Releases page, the girl modeling his T-shirts is his new drummer.
Click on highlighted track names for a short low bitrate sample.
http://www.aynsleylister.co.uk/index.htm

When the wife is in the car just about the only CDs that are allowed are 2 discs by another young man named Matt King.
Matt is from North Carolina. We first heard him when he opened for Buddy Guy, at a show in Nashville. It's a night I'll never forget. We bought 2 discs at that show. We both agree there is not a bad song on them.
Matt classifies his music as "Hillbilly Gothic". His site is currently under construction, but you can hear (and download) some good sample songs at the following site.

You folks in Texas and Tennessee keep an ear out for him. He bounces back and forth between Austin and Nashville.

Thanks, Rotten

This is not my favorite music while I'm driving around in my Crossfire, but it's my "Flavor", click the link and enjoy the song. hooah it's in windows format, but I'm sure it'll play on the MAC also. hooah

It's a 4.5mb file so it a second or two for the music to crank up.

Hey Rotten,

I can't believe there is someone on here that has actually heard of Ainsley Lister! I am a big blues fan and I've followed his progress closely over the years. I've seen him live in various small venues in my (and his) home town of Leicester when he was about 18 playing with Slim Steer and Richard Lymn - the guy is fantastic. He used to cover a lot of standards from the likes of Albert King and Robert Johnson but with a 'rockier' feel and a touch of Hendricks. You wouldn't believe the kind of sound these three guys could produce in packed out pub. The cockpit of the Crossfire is just the place to recreate it!

Simon.

I kinda like "Every Day is a Winding Road", by Cheryl Crow. It kinda gets me in the mood...

I like driving to music from the 70's and 80's. I like CCR, Huey Lewis and the News...songs with a good steering wheel thump as I drive.

I'm with Cissy. The 80's have some great driving music. My Favorites: "I Can't Drive 55" by Sammy Hagar; and more recently "Smooth" by Santana. (Definitely a song for the Crossfire).

If you want to do some serious driving, put in Move B** by Ludacris, and crank it up!

Top Gun WAS my favorite until Ludacris. That song makes you want to run everybody off the road...and this is from a 55 year old white guy who hates rap! But you have to drive with it one time to understand. Try it!

I am always listening to country music anymore. I don't think I know what song from Ludacris you mean. Does anyone have it on their computer? If you do, could you email it to me? I send songs to my kids all the time that way and it works fine.

Danke Schoen!

Thanks.
I guess I was hoping to get it for free, with no adware, pop-ups or viruses. My computer seems to be under Murphy's law lately.

Never mind. Danimal already sent it. Thanks.

It's definitely a good song for driving a fast car!!!
I'm not sure how long I could listen to it before it wore on me, though. With my rag top, I'd always be watching out to make sure there were no granny's or little kids around, lol!

I'll have to go with Ramstienne. Fun to listen too, it gets you wired up and breaking traffic rules by the end of the first track. lol
