Leather Shift Knob
I've been trying like hell to find a shop that can cover my OEM knob in leather, and can't find one. Some have tried but at the end they tell me they can't get it to work. Yet, I know Star Tech and other have done it for purposes of taking pictures only. They don't sell them. Someone had to do it, so it's been done. Here's a picture of what I want.
Does anyone know of a local shop in your area that can do it? I'm willing to ship it to them. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...6&d=1162358498 http://www.andreschak.de/quaces/imag...sfire_1816.jpg http://www.andreschak.de/quaces/imag...sfire_1818.jpg |

Riggs Brothers Tops & Interior, 1608 N Aurora Rd, Naperville, IL 60563
(630) 548-1717 riggsbros.com 1608 N Aurora Rd, Naperville, IL 60563 They have I think 5 shops in the chi-area. Probably my family has spent in the neighborhood of 15,000 with them over like 20-30 years. Can't get you a discount but I will vouch for their excellent work...last thing they did for us was an interiior for a golf cart that matches brand new caddy interior...with the tucks and the same plush leather material!...couldn't tell you were sitting on the cart or in a car! And they will try anything...have taken items too them and said what do you think of this...and they have made it a reality!... Not cheap by the way, |
Re: Leather Shift Knob

FP, I'm also interested in covering my shift knob in leather. If this avenue is successful, let me know.

Re: Leather Shift Knob
I'll let you guys know how it works out. It would be nice if one of the guys closer to the shop could find out if they can get it done.

Re: Leather Shift Knob
Anyone know the price on this? I'm going to look it up and I'll post the price if no one beats me to it. EDIT. I can't find one, nor can I find a part number. My dealer asked for a part number because he can't find one in the catalog. :p Go figure... Btw, he said he thought the 06s came with a leather autostick shift knob as standard... I think he is probably wrong. Anyone know? Thanks. |

I interpreted one of the posts as stating there was a leather oem autostick shift knob available as an accessory. |
