ROOF REPAIR THE CROSSFIRE
Toorder parts. Teile Nr A 193 690 00 50
1 -. Remove 2 visors(2 screws each).
2 -. Removethe 2 plastics interior light (with small flat screwdriver).
3 -. Removethe two screws from the interior light.
4 -. Disconnectcable connections (interior lights and garage door).
5 -. Remove thecontrol assembly garage door.
6 -. Removethe side pillars, each has 2 Staples about 7 cms. eachend (leverage by the top center and pull inward force to unpin the upper clampfirst and then the bottom)
7 -. Pulldown the rear side panels until 3 loose plastic clips.
8 -. Remove2 clips in the rear of the roof, 1 on the left side. and another to the right.
9 -. Pullthe center of the ceiling down (tailgate).
10 -. Movethe seats fully forward, and recline the seat back.
11 -. Gentlypull the roof down the perimeter seal and the roof will drop (no need to removethe seal).
12 -. Takeout the roof by the passenger door, be carefull, no damage at the corners. It is veryfair and will not leave if the angle is not correct. Youcan not draw diagonal or behind or in any other way, only with guidance as itis mounted, front forward and the right side slightly tilted down.
13 -. Removethe cloth.
14 -. Scrapewith wire brush remnants of foam and glue.
15 -. Sandwell everything until no debris and clean look cardboard stone and dust.
16 -. Buyspecial fabric for car roofs, which is attached to the foam.
17 -. BuyCeys contact glue, resistant up to 120 ° C.
18 -. Foldthe fabric in half and place in the center of the panel.
19 -. Apply athin layer glue on the panel, strips about 10 cm. fromside to side of the panel, do not put glue on the foam.
20 -. Go sticking fabricin those areas with glue.
21 -. Cut the excess fabric about 2inches. morethan the perimeter of the panel (serve to fold and tuck the back of the panel.
22 -. Top with carearound the perimeter of the panel.
23 -. Letdry for 2 days unassembled the ceiling, to ensure a good bond.
