Now that's different...

I have been toying with getting my interior completely redone for a while. I really like the SRT6 Alcantara Suede inserts on the leather seats. The SRT6 was painted only 4 colors, and the interior has unlimited choices as long as they are all charcoal.

Then I saw a picture of a Ferrari with butterscotch leather and black and black Alcantara in the interior. It even had a black CF center stack. I was in LOVE!

Here is my very unique new SRT6....https://www.crossfireforum.org/galle...ossfirarri.JPG

Wow i wish i had the money to do that. But what is that on your door it looks like they got a little bit of paint there. Also what does that little switch down in the footwell do. Does it makes the wings come out?

Excellent....I love it. Did you get this done, or are you thinking about it?

Nice color, I'd like to see a shot of the car from the outside. As I look at it I'm wondering if it isn't a bit too busy looking. Not sure the CF works with a Ferrari looking interior either. If you do this don't forget the headliner, that's a light gray? Needs to be either dark charcoal or the butterscotch color. Last week was Ferrari club week at our local get to gether and quite a few had that interior color.

Looks great Karl, but ^^^^ +1 on the headliner

I was curious what the total cost for the project was...

yes a little smudge, it wiped right off

Very observant. The switch turns on my in dash screen for the telephone and when I want to watch a DVD when driving.....but I would never want to do that! LOL

Congrats my friend. It looks awesome....I need to know what changing the color to the dash and console runs.

That was one of the first things discussed. At first they weren't sure they wanted to remove the headliner. I told them no way am I going to have the grey on the headliner with the butterscotch leather. They agreed and admitted when it was done that it was the right thing to do. If you look closely at the pictures you can see tha A pillar covers and the picture of the hatch area. Look closely and you can see the edge of the headliner in butterscotch.

That is absolutely gorgeous, SRT SIX. From the new electronics down to the last stitch - beautiful.

sidebar: obviously you've the entire cabin apart, so how big of a deal is it to get rid of the knee bolster? I could use another couple inches.

Well done!

Hmmm, sounds almost like a contest. "Guess how much that bill was?"

Two men all day in my garage, completely (except for the dash) disassembled the interior, dyed and replaced. My driveway had two large Econoline vans parked there all day. (9am - 7pm including an impromptu photo shoot).

I am almost afraid to say the cost.....I am not sure it could be duplicated. This guy was HUNGRY. He said it was the most extensive automotive job he had done to date. I think he is as proud of his work as I am. He will be prominently displaying it on his website.

Now, drumroll please..........ta da total cost for dash, console, door panels, seats, headliner and associated pillar and hatch area trim.....$800, total smiles per gallon.....priceless LOL

Absolutely stunning. I have thought about doing this but the cost of wrapping everything in leather has made me decide against it on several occasions. Gotta love the carmel leather.

I think we could all use a couple inches, at least that is what my email keeps telling me LOL.

Sorry about the bolster info, they didn't have to remove that.

$800?

Steal of the century.

Well worth twice that.

This was all done with dyes, they spent more time taping things off than actually dying.

$800!
I was thinking that there would have been a "1" in front of that price at least!
Hmmm. $800 burning a hole in yer pocket?
New dual cold air intake or a "new" interior???
