New LED's Cab lights

Finally had a good day and got to play with X-Fire and my new mods.
I put some of the blue LED's in the map light. Really makes the silver glow around the edges of the wood grain overlay.

Here's a shot of the center consol. Makes the car have a nice blue theme to go with the SSB outside.

It's really not that bright, digital camera likes to over expose in this color range.;)

Thanks for the look see. The black face goes real well with the grey overlay I used.

Thanks, the camera makes it look brighter than it really is.
The overlay is made by MimoUSA Wholesale. But you'll have to talk to Ryan Hand at mojoparts@gmail.com. Price was around $150.
Here is a shot in regular light. Before:

does it look weird with the green lighting from the gauges?

smfrycruzr May 25, 2010 08:12 AM

Re: New LED's Cab lights

No, not really. The gauges are only on while driving and the interior lights are only on while getting in/out of the XFire. Unless you turn on the cabin lights at night, then they would both be on at the same time. But, still not that noticeable together. ;)

PS-You can order the LEDs in a green color.

Mopar has a lighting kit for other models not the x-fire but still worked on mine, got one for the wifes challenger and liked it so much that I got one for my car, they have led light bars for under the dash and then another lead with two more lights to put in your console or where ever, and they change colors, 16 different shades including purple, red, blue, and green. They can also stay on all the time or off by the switch which also is used to change the colors, the blue goes good with the SSB and the blue illuminated door sills.
