Default I did that! White dashboard light!

Finally, i've accomplished what i dreamt about. My dashboard light is now white, to say more - all of interior lighting is cold WHITE. Everything from buttons to glovebox to head unit to cabin light. Well, pictures speak louder i guess

So may I consider myself to be the first on Earth to do that???

nope, it's just not that easy. replacing stock lights will only add some brightness but it won't change the color. (speaking of dashboard)

More pics to come, i just don't understand how this goddamn upload thing works!? I've uploaded 6 photos and now it just refuses to load more pics! it freaks me out.

ahh, i've managed to do that, finally. It still doesn't load more than 1 pic at a time.

Thanx, Voyager, but what matters most is the feel of alcantara.. you just can't stop touching it over and over again))

it's definately not cheap, but i guess it's worth it.

you can even DIY in case you've got basic knowledge about how this thing works.

all the scales have green sublayer, which needs to be rubbed off.

Damn that looks good. I asked the questions in another thread, but you never answered, is that neffy wrap you used on the interior pieces??

Nice ride.

How many bulbs/lights are involved?? I've never taken apart the instrument cluster, but seeing that bright white... I believe I'm motivated to do so. I do like the factory green, but I don't think it's bright enough. That white is AWESOME!!!

in order to avoid light spots - you'd better use light tapes or whatever you call it, hope you get what im saying

Maybe its just me, but I dont feel like I'm getting too much insight on how to accomplish this. So far I've learned that it's an expensive DIY job that requires light tapes.

Cross-fired can you please explain what is required to do this setup.

1. take the dashboard off
2. disassemble it completely

4. then electricity part - that's what im not good at. Search the net.

Awe come on Brink. Get some help setting the arrows straight, cause that is hard and you don't want to miss when the cowboys are shooting at you. Disassemble everything, rub off all the fish scales, do the electrical part and put it back together. How hard can it be.... LOL
