Looks good, where did you find the instructions for doing the disassembly of the original ****?

Doc, unfortunately, I am working tonight, but that's just how it goes sometimes. I don't have any family in Indiana, though, so I might as well make some money, haha. Hope your Thanksgiving is a good one.

Smfry, I used the instructions from the service/repair manual that I downloaded from the forum. I was surprised when I found out it wasn't a simple screw-on ****, but then again, I should have figured it would be different, being a Crossfire. Wasn't too much trouble, though.

I found a reputable touch up place here in town that I'll probably check out here this Spring to see what they can do. Because it's going to be an ongoing problem, I'm considering having the plastic surfaces redone in leather or suede so I won't have to worry about it again.

this fella had his done in leather. definatly the route im going if mine starts to peel badly
