Anyone know where to get this Crossfire Sticker?
Anyone know where to get this Crossfire Sticker?
When i bought my car this sticker came on my car. As i was pulling the dash apart today i pulled it off for some stupid reason. Since the sticker is metal it bent and i won't be able to glue it on with out straightening it out. Right now im working on flatening it out but i don't think it will work so well. I also don't want to cover my dash in goof off and take the silver finish off trying to get this adhesive residue off my dash.
Any ideas fellas?

To get the glue off the dash try a windex soaked rag. I have had really great luck in the past getting old gunky glue off plastic that way. You have to let the soaked rag sit on the glue for a little while (minute or so) and then it wipes off most times.
Otherwise maybe a non-acetone nail polish remove (I think that is a bit more risk though.)
Or try peanut butter maybe? I got some sap off of my fender by putting peanut butter on it and letting it dry out over night.

Oh, thanks! That's exactly what i needed. Honestly i don't think the sticker looked bad at all, though it was just slightly off center.

Actually this makes complete sense now. Makes me curious who owned the car before me. Didn't know how all this stuff got on my car.

I have read some of his stuff is not bad quality. I found out about him when I did some searching around when I myself was going to purchase some of his wares. Then I read about this whole scenario where he basically stole a bunch of money from members and shipped out a shoddy product. He posed as a different individual and what not. I think he was srtdan on this site before he was kicked off.
Re: Anyone know where to get this Crossfire Sticker?
I just went after it with vegatable oil, a scouring pad from the kitchen and some meguires quikmist detailer. Ill dig out my PB blaster (dont have any WD40 on hand) and see if that does anything.
The problem is it's not just adhesive residue, it's almost like a dried layer or plastic on there.

Patience is a virtue they say, try it.

It was $30 shipped in a box (so it wouldn't get bent in the mail). Made by 3M.

Looks like your cars previous owner was Dan's "BlTCH".
Re: Anyone know where to get this Crossfire Sticker?
I hate to be the odd man out, but I highly dislike Mopar. Since the only thing Chrysler on the Crossfire was my key, the car wasn't a turn off. That and i did a 180 on the highway at 60 mph while test driving it (with bald tires)
Personally, i've grown attached to that sticker being there. Even if i got the spot clean it would of felt like the car was missing something. I am sure that's just because i bought the car like that, so it's all i know.
