Default No luck, shift ****

Well I'm just not having any luck replacing my shift ****. I replaced it with a momo spring **** but it wouldn't stay tight. Then I really wanted a black leather/chrome or CF/chrome so I started looking. Someone on here said the Lexus ***** would fit. I found a nice one and just got it. Should have googled how it is installed before buying. It screws on. I was thinking about putting some kind of adhesive on the shaft, sliding it on, and letting it set up. But I'm not sure any adhesive would stick to the smooth shaft and if it doesn't work then I have a mess of glue to clean off.

Just wanted to post on here if anybody has a good idea before I stay with the stock **** and try to sell this shiny new Lexus **** on ebay.

Glue that sucker on and maybe you'll live to regret it if you have to take it off to get to the lever mechanism or trim.
Sawing the **** off will leave an expensive part to replace.

Turns out the lexus **** fits my Tacoma perfectly, so that works. I just ordered this one on ebay. Assuming it installs correctly, should look great.

I wanted to stay away from wood, but that one does look good. Sporty shape.
