Default Dash Trim paint removal

Someone on here has removed the black rubbery paint on the dash trim above the guages. What did you use to get it off? What my finger is pointing too...

I am looking to remove the paint from that area as well, do you recall whether you used enamel or lacquer thinner?

I honk that somewhere here someone used brake fluid to strip the paint and it did a nice job.
Check it out before you try though, I could be wrong.

i know 180 that its glossy smooth black under it, I would hate to dull it usung the wrong stuff hopefully someone that actually got it off will chime in. I was thinking about using the mr clean pad that you can scrub the walls with. if its ok on wall paint should work ok on the plastic.

Low odor Varsol, I thought about laquer thinners but was afraid it would damage the plastic.
