Interior light repair
The white dots are the original fasteners, accomplished by melting a plastic post that protruded thru the circuit bars. The screws replaced the failed popped off plastic hold downs. Drill pilot holes for the screws, insure clearance ,above and below, for the screws. The result was better than new.

Nice. I used a soldering iron to re-melt the broken posts. Still good after 8 years.
Just sayin'.... |

Just sayin'.... Have you any comments on the use of this crazy type glue that uses UV light to cure it? I purchased some and fortunately I have not had any use for it yet. Other crazy glues seem to dry up before I have used it more than one or two times. |

As for Super Glue, I only use/buy this: https://www.grainger.com/product/5E2...170222124250:s Flexible (make your own o-rings!) fast-drying (compared to any others) and oh, SO STRONG! Keep it in the 'fridge. It will last longer than....you or me, old timer! Seriously, I have a tube in my lab fridge that's ~ 8 years old. Good as new. I used it last month. Stuff ain't cheap, but there's a LOT in there. And, kept cold, it will last forever. ;) |
